To let every wish ride proceed safely and with mutual trust, we apply the conditions below. Please read them carefully before you take part.

Participation in wish rides and activities
These conditions apply to all guests and companions who take part in a ride or activity of our foundation.
1. Applicability
These participation conditions apply to every wish ride, activity and event organised by Foundation Rijden voor Geluk, WishAmbulance Haaksbergen and surroundings (hereinafter: the Foundation). By taking part, the guest and his or her companions agree with these conditions.
2. Nature of the service
The Foundation is a non-profit volunteer organisation. All rides and activities are offered free of charge and without obligation and are intended solely as a special experience. The Foundation does not perform medical transport and is not a replacement for professional patient transport or ambulance care.
3. Health and medical accompaniment
Prior to a ride we discuss the guest's health situation. The applicant is responsible for providing relevant medical information fully and truthfully. When the health situation requires it, the guest must be accompanied by their own care provider or companion. The Foundation may refuse participation or interrupt a ride when the safety or health of the guest requires it.
4. Own risk and indemnity
Participation in a wish ride or activity is entirely at your own risk. As far as legally permitted, the Foundation, its directors and its volunteers accept no liability for damage, injury or consequences arising from or related to participation, except in the case of intent or conscious recklessness. The guest and/or their representative indemnifies the Foundation and its volunteers against claims of third parties related to participation.
5. Insurance
The Foundation has the usual insurances for its vehicles and volunteers. Personal belongings of guests and companions are not covered by this; we advise participants to arrange their own (travel and liability) insurance.
6. Cancellation and force majeure
In case of unfavourable weather conditions, illness, technical faults or other forms of force majeure, a ride may be postponed or cancelled. In that case we plan a new, suitable moment in consultation. The Foundation is not obliged to any compensation in case of cancellation.
7. Image material
During rides and activities photos or videos may be taken. We use these exclusively with consent for promotional or informative purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time via a message to the Foundation.
8. Privacy
The Foundation processes personal data exclusively for organising and carrying out wish rides and activities, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Read our full privacy statement for more information about which data we process and which rights you have.
9. Behaviour
We expect respectful behaviour from guests and companions towards volunteers and equipment. Instructions from the riders and companions must be followed at all times in the interest of everyone's safety.
