A special wish, close by and familiar
Sometimes travelling independently is no longer possible, while there is still a place someone dearly wishes to visit. With our specially equipped wish ambulance and the personal support of volunteers, we make that precious moment possible after all, safe, comfortable and free of charge.
We drive for everyone in Twente and the Achterhoek who depends on lying-down transport, young or old. The destination may also be further away, for example by the sea or abroad.

Our mission
We drive for someone else's happiness
The Rijden voor Geluk Foundation, WishAmbulance Haaksbergen & surroundings is a non-profit volunteer organisation from Haaksbergen. With our specially equipped WishAmbulance, trikes and sidecar motorcycles, we create unforgettable memories for people who are seriously ill or have limited mobility.
A day at the sea, one more visit to a beloved place or a ride through nature, sometimes that is exactly what someone needs. We make it possible, free of charge for the wish-maker, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the support of donors and sponsors.

From wish to reality in four steps
We take all the worries off your hands, so you can focus on the moment that matters.
1. Request a wish
Fill in the request form or call us. You tell us who the wish is for and what we may dream of.
2. Personal contact
One of our volunteers gets in touch to calmly discuss the wish, the health situation and the possibilities.
3. Planning together
We arrange the right vehicle, the support and a suitable date. You don't have to worry about a thing.
4. The wish fulfilled
On the day itself we bring you safely and comfortably to the place of your wish, for an unforgettable experience.
