One Last Visit to Her Friend

Our wish recipient had one big wish left: to visit her friend in Enschede one more time.

Due to her health, that was no longer possible on her own, but with our Wish Ambulance we were able to fulfill this wish after all. Our volunteers took the lady to Enschede, where she had a wonderful afternoon with her friend.

They chatted comfortably, recalled memories, and mostly enjoyed being together. For a moment, it was just like in the old days: visiting together and making time for each other.

Afterwards, we brought the lady back home. She had visibly enjoyed the afternoon and later let us know with a sweet handwritten message how grateful she was.

For us, it was once again special to see how much such a visit can mean.
