Two Special Moments in Two Days

Last Sunday, we had the privilege of fulfilling another special wish. Our wish recipient wanted to attend the Concert at the Vijver. Due to bad weather, the concert was moved to the Marcellinus in Boekelo, but fortunately, that did not diminish the meaning of the afternoon. Thanks to our wish ambulance, she was able to be there and enjoy the concert.

During the preparatory conversation with the family, our coordinators learned that a loved one of hers had recently passed away. The funeral was scheduled for the day after the concert, but due to her situation, it seemed impossible for her to attend in person. It was immediately clear to us that we wanted to see what was still possible. Quick action was taken and within a short time, we managed to make this wish come true as well.

Thus, our ambulance was ready for her again the next day. This time not for a festive moment, but to say goodbye and be present at the funeral of her loved one.

Two days, two very different moments, but both incredibly important.
